Hey there! I'm Sean. I'm an LGBTQ+ writer, actor, and comedian based in Los Angeles. Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, I moved to LA after college when I was accepted into the NBCUniversal Page Program and continued to work in various support staff roles throughout the television industry as I pursued a career in writing and comedy.
In 2024, I was chosen for the 2024 Nickelodeon Writing Program, a highly competitive talent incubator for comedy writers, and I am currently writing on an unannounced Nickelodeon animated series.
My writing thrives in heightened, wacky worlds that give the audience permission to escape reality for a bit. In my stand up, that translates to a neurotic, perpetually single gay boy persona with a lot of feelings and opinions. My aim is to be a paradigm of good-hearted humor, showing that we can make fun of ourselves without being mean-spirited.
I have received numerous other accolades for my work in screenwriting and stand up, notably being named a semi-finalist in the Screencraft Comedy Competition and "Best of the Fest" at the Burbank Comedy Festival. I also wrote, directed, and starred in an 8-episode web series that was an "Official Selection" of the Venice Shorts Film Festival. The series features talented performers who have gone on to work at SNL, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and The Groundlings Sunday Company.
Through my Comedy Cookies production unit, I produce & host sold out shows that have combined my love of comedy and baking to provide laughs and cookies throughout LA.
